Born from the Pursuit

I created Alessandro Criló because I could never find the kind of shoes I truly wanted to wear.

As a former professional basketball player standing over two metres tall, I spent years searching for footwear that combined timeless elegance, exceptional comfort, and the integrity of genuine Italian craftsmanship. Time after time, I had to choose between style, quality, and the right fit.

Instead of accepting that compromise, I decided to create what I believed should exist.

Working alongside skilled Italian artisans, I founded Alessandro Criló to craft timeless footwear defined by premium materials, traditional craftsmanship, and refined proportions, with a special focus on larger sizes. Every pair reflects my belief that true luxury lies in authenticity, precision, and enduring style—not in excess. I create shoes for men who appreciate quality without compromise.

Yes — and this is our entire reason for being. Every last, every pattern, and every upper is made specifically for these sizes. We do not simply scale up a standard last; we build from anatomical measurements taken from real feet in the EU 47–53 range. The result is a shoe that fits the way a shoe should fit.

Many of our models are available for immediate dispatch from our European warehouse. If your size is in stock, your order will be shipped within 1–2 business days, with worldwide delivery typically taking 3–10 business days depending on the destination. If you cannot find your size, simply contact us. We will let you know when the next production batch will be available or help you choose an alternative model that best suits your needs.

Our goal is simple: every pair of Alessandro Criló shoes should fit comfortably and meet your expectations. Thanks to our sizing process, fit-related issues are exceptionally rare, but we stand behind every pair we make.

All orders are shipped from our European warehouse. If you need to return or exchange your order, you may send it either to our European warehouse or to our U.S. warehouse in Los Angeles, California, depending on your location and the instructions provided by our customer support team.

Use cedar shoe trees after each wear. Clean with a soft brush or cloth. Apply a neutral or matching cream monthly. Polish with a horsehair brush. For suede: brush in one direction with a suede brush; use a rubber eraser for scuffs. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Resoling is available through our care programme — shoes built on the Goodyear welt can be resoled indefinitely.
